Urology has long been at the forefront of minimally invasive technologies for diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract disorders. The global recession has impacted the urological endoscope market however, with slower growth than had previously been expected. The world market for urological endoscopes is projected to reach just over $530 million by the end of 2011.
